Fees & Reservations
Admissions Fees:
- Wheaton Park District Residents – Free!
(Please show your Wheaton Park District resident ID card)
- Nonresident Adults (ages 18-54) – $3
- Nonresident Adults (ages 55 & over) – $2
- Cosley Zoo Members – Free! (Please show your Cosley Zoo Membership card)
- All children (birth-age 17) – Free!
For group admission rates, please refer to the Reservations section below.
Programs:
Families and Individuals: Fees vary by program
Schools and organized groups from Wheaton: $3.00/participant
- A minimum of 12 participants are charged ($36)
Schools and organized groups outside of Wheaton:
$4.50/ participant
- A minimum of 12 participants are charged ($54)
Scout Groups with a meeting location in Wheaton: $5.00/ scout
Scout Groups with a meeting location outside of Wheaton:
$6.50/ scout
Reservations:
Reservations are required for all groups and are charged as follows:
Self-guided schools and organized groups of 10 or more from Wheaton: All children and chaperones are admitted for free with a reservation.
Self-guided schools and groups of 10 or more from outside of Wheaton: All children are admitted for free. One chaperone for every five participants is allowed for free with a reservation. Additional chaperones pay the appropriate admissions fee. Groups with participants ages 18 and over, please call for rates.
A minimum two-week advance notice is required for scheduling a program. Scheduling is on a first come, first served basis. We may not be able to accommodate every request, so please have an alternate date in mind.
When making your group reservation, please have the following information available:
1. Group contact information
2. Date(s) you wish to come to the zoo
3. Time of arrival or program, if applicable
4. Anticipated number of participants
5. Anticipated number of chaperones
5. Age/grade of participants
6. Any special needs or accommodations
