Cosley Zoo maintains 20 exhibits, housing more than 200 animals that represent more than 70 species. Every exhibit provides guests with an educational, safe, and fun way to personally interact with nature.
Programs are free, open to all ages, and may include animal encounters, amphitheater presentations, and animal training sessions. Look for the Discovery Station sign located on the walkway into the zoo.
April-May: Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm
June-August: Daily at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm

Duck feeding will be offered daily, March 23-31 and April 20 through mid-October, 2013 from 10-10:30 am and 3-3:30 pm, weather permitting.
Eco-Exploration Backpack Tours
Cosley Zoo is offering backpack tours that will help families experience Cosley Zoo in a whole new way. These eco-friendly packs are filled with hands-on activities and discovery items such as scent jars, binoculars, and duck identification cards. Each pack focuses on a different theme and will act as a "tour guide" as you make your way through the zoo, highlighting various exhibits and promoting animal and habitat conservation messages. So, test your senses with our Animal Senses tour or venture into the Illinois Wilds today.
Backpack tours are a great way for parents and children to explore the zoo together.
Fee $2 per pack, per visit.
